Petra Nováková Opponent of the thesis: Title of the thesis: Physiotherapy in Patients with Surgical Treatment of Fractures of The Proximal Humerus Cooperation Physiotherapist and Occupational Therapist This thesis deals with physiotherapy and occupational therapy for patients with surgical treatment of fractures of the proximal humerus. The aim is to show how important it is collaboration physiotherapist and occupational therapist for patients with this diagnosis and publish their examination procedure and proposal of therapy. The work is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. Introduction the theoretical part contains an anatomical description of the humerus and anatomy and kinesiology shoulder joint. In the section devoted to fractures of the proximal humerus describes the most common causes of fractures, subsequent possibilities of conservative and surgical treatment, particularly with potential complications. The final section discusses post-operative rehabilitation, physiotherapy, occupational therapy and the importance of the cooperation of a multidisciplinary team.
